Beard transplants usually take between 6 and 10 hours to complete. The total length of time depends on how many grafts are required, and whether you have FUT or FUE surgery. FUE is generally a longer procedure than FUT.

In rare cases where you need more than 1,500 grafts, you may need to visit the surgery on 2 consecutive days.

It depends on which technique you’ve chosen. FUE recovery periods tend to be shorter than FUT. With FUE, you should be able to return to your normal activities 5 to 7 days after surgery. With FUT, you’re likely to need 10-14 days to recover fully.
