How to treat it: If you have a cut or scrape, be sure to clean and disinfect it. You can use a cold compress to bring down the swelling for bruises or bumps. How to treat it: Keep your scalp well-moisturised during an atopic dermatitis flareup. If the symptoms are severe, your GP or dermatologist may prescribe steroid creams or calcineurin inhibitors to reduce inflammation.
